China’s Tangshan to implement stricter curbs to control air pollution

China’s Tangshan has ordered some steel mills to shut down their sinter machines in order to improve the air quality during Aug-Sep ’20. Mills in Qin’an city need to shed their blast furnace’s production load by 30% between evening 8.00 p.m. to early morning 6.00 a.m. They also need to reduce the shutdown proportion of pelletizing by 30% until further order.
