China’s steel inventory rises by 11% w-o-w

China’s steel inventory rose by 11% w-o-w to 9.85 mnt as on 13 Jan’23 against 8.91 mnt a week ago.
Stocks of HRCs and CRCs rose by 8% and 3% w-o-w to 2.21 mnt and 1.24 mnt, respectively. Plates stocks went up marginally by 1% w-o-w to 1.1 mnt.
Rebars and wire rods stocks registered a sharp rise of 15% and 17% w-o-w to 4.4 mnt and 0.89 mnt, respectively.
