China’s steel inventory edges down w-o-w to 10.03 mnt

China’s steel inventory edged down by 1% w-o-w to 10.03 mnt on 23 Sep’22 against 10.16 mnt last week.

• Stocks of HRC and plate dropped marginally by 1% w-o-w to 2.28 mnt and 1.06 mnt, respectively, while CRC stocks fell by 2% to 1.31 mnt.
• Wire rod stocks declined sharply by 6% w-o-w to 1.20 mnt, while stocks of rebar remained largely flat w-o-w at 4.18 mnt.
