China’s steel inventory down w-o-w

Steel inventory in China across all products witnessed a downward trend w-o-w, as per the latest Lange Steel report.

• As on 3 Dec’21, steel stocks including five products viz – hot rolled coils, cold-rolled coils, plates followed by rebar and wire rods, stand at 9.24 mn t, a decline of 2% w-o-w as against 9.46 mn t a week ago.
• Construction steel inventory stood at 4.73 mn t today, down 4% as against 4.93 mn t a week ago.
