China’s stainless steel imports from Indonesia up nearly 30%, y-o-y, in March

China’s stainless steel imports from Indonesia stood at 194,300 t in Mar’22, an increase of 29.42% y-o-y. During Jan-Mar, total imports from Indonesia were 812,600 t, an increase of 9.12 times y-o-y. Moreover, imports of ferronickel were assessed at 430,100 t in Mar, an increase of 28.61% y-o-y. Indonesia was the largest supplier with 386,700 t, an increase of 35.95% on the month and 39.21% y-o-y.
