China’s Shagang Steel slashes long steel prices by up to RMB 300/t ($47)

Chinese steelmaker Shagang Steel has decreased its construction steel prices for May-end sales, effective from 21 May’21. The current prices are:

• Rebar (16-25 mm) price is at RMB 5,850/t ($909)
• Price of wire rod (6-10mm) is at RMB 6,010/t ($934)
• Coiled rebar (8-10 mm) price is at RMB 6,100/t ($948)

All prices are on ex-mill basis, inclusive of taxes.
