China’s rebar production falls 13% y-o-y in Jan-Jul’24

China’s rebar production stood at 117.21 mnt in Jan-Jul’24, down 13.4% y-o-y, according to the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS). Wire rod production declined by 2.9% y-o-y to 78.811 mnt in the period under review. In July, rebar production dropped 21.6% y-o-y to 15.644 mnt, while wire rod production dropped 2.5% y-o-y to 11.575 mnt.
