China’s rebar production drops y-o-y in Jan-Jun’24

China’s rebar production stood at 102.35 mnt in Jan-Jun’24, down 11.7% y-o-y, according to the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS). Wire rod production moved down by 2.8% y-o-y to 67.343 mnt in the period under review. In June, rebar production dropped by 10.1% y-o-y to 18.24 mnt, while wire rod production rose by 2.4% y-o-y to 12.467 mnt.
