China’s raw coal production up 2% y-o-y in Nov’24

In Nov’24, China’s raw coal production reached 430 mnt, marking a 1.8% y-o-y increase and a 4.4% m-o-m rise, according to the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS). For the Jan-Nov’24 period, total coal production reached 4.32 billion tonnes, up 1.2% y-o-y.
Meanwhile, coke production in Nov totalled 40.68 mnt, a 0.6% y-o-y increase and a 4.4% m-o-m rise.
