China’s power generation in Jan-Feb’22 rises 4% y-o-y – NBS

In Jan-Feb’22, national power generation in China was recorded at 1,314.1 billion kWh, a y-o-y increase of 4%, NBS data shows. In Dec’21, power generation had decreased by 2.1%, with average daily generation of 22.27 billion kWh. Generation of wind power, thermal power, hydropower, nuclear power and solar power have increased in varying degrees. Thermal power increased by 4.3% y-o-y, while renewable power generation rose by 6-7%.
