China’s pet coke imports surge 34% y-o-y in Apr’21

China’s petroleum coke imports registered a rise of 34% y-o-y to 1.57 mn t in Apr’21, according to the country’s General Administration of Customs (GACC). Latest capacity additions to the country’s power generation and cement production industries has fueled demand growth for seaborne pet coke in China.
