China’s long steel production rises y-o-y in Sep’22

China’s long steel production rose y-o-y in Sep’22, as per National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) data.

• Rebar production increased by 17.4% y-o-y to 21.41 mnt.
• Wire rod output stood at 12.96 mnt, up 17.4% y-o-y.

In Jan-Sep’22, China’s rebar and wire rod production dropped by 11.1% and 9.4% respectively as compared to the same period last year.
