Chinese iron ore and steel futures today witnessed a sharp increase after remaining range-bound last week. DCE iron ore Jan’21 contract surged by RMB 28 to RMB 817.5/t and SGX Dec contract closed higher at $117.95/t. SHFE rebar futures climbed by RMB 77, SteelMint learned.
