China’s HRC prices rise marginally, futures edge down

China’s domestic HRC prices rose marginally by RMB 20/t ($3/t) while CRC prices remained flat d-o-d on 14 Oct’22. SHFE HRC futures for Jan’23 delivery settled today at RMB 3,743/t ($520/t), down by RMB 16/t ($2/t) d-o-d. Current offers-

• HRC (4.5-12mm, Q235 B): RMB 3,950/t ($549/t)
• CRC (1-1.2mm, Q195-215A): RMB 4,385/t ($610/t)
