China’s HRC, CRC prices fall by up to RMB 30/t ($4/t)

China’s domestic HRC prices fell by RMB 30/t ($4/t) and CRC prices by RMB 20/t ($3/t) on 17 Oct’22. SHFE HRC futures for Jan’23 delivery settled today at RMB 3,706/t ($515/t), down by RMB 37/t ($5/t) from previous close on 14 Oct’22. Current offers-

• HRC (4.5-12mm, Q235 B): RMB 3,920/t ($545/t)
• CRC (1-1.2mm, Q195-215A): RMB 4,365/t ($607/t)
• Prices are exw-Tianjin, inclusive of 13% VAT.
