China’s ferro alloys production decreased by 4% y-o-y to 28.05 mnt in Jan-Oct’22, according to the National Bureau of Statistics. The fall in production volumes was due to low demand in the domestic market as a result of steel production cuts in the country.

Ferro alloys output in Oct’22 stood at 2.84 mnt, down by 5% y-o-y from 2.7 mnt in the same month in 2021.
