China’s domestic HRC prices decline by RMB 60/t ($9/t)

China’s domestic HRC prices declined by RMB 60/t ($9/t) and CRC prices by RMB 50/t ($7/t) on 17 Aug’22. According to SteelMint data, SHFE HRC futures for Oct’22 delivery settled today at RMB 3,989/t ($588/t), registered a fall of RMB 52/t ($8/t) on d-o-d basis. Current prices-

• HRC (4.5-12mm, Q235 B): RMB 3,950/t ($583/t)
• CRC (1-1.2mm, Q195-215A): RMB 4,465/t ($659/t)
• Prices are exw-Tianjin basis, inclusive of 13% VAT.
