China’s domestic HRC, CRC prices rise by up to RMB 30/t ($4/t)

China’s CRC prices edged up by RMB 30/t ($4/t) and HRC prices by RMB 10/t ($1/t) d-o-d on 3 Aug’22. According to SteelMint data, SHFE HRC futures for Oct’22 delivery settled today at RMB 4,054/t ($600/t), up by RMB 37/t ($5/t) on d-o-d basis. Current prices-

• CRC (1-1.2mm, Q195-215A): RMB 4,505/t ($667/t)
• HRC (4.5-12mm, Q235 B): RMB 4,030/t ($597/t)
• Prices are exw-Tianjin basis, inclusive of 13% VAT.
