China’s domestic HRC, CRC prices increase on rising futures

China’s HRC and CRC prices increased today following a rise in HRC futures. According to SteelMint data, SHFE HRC futures for Oct’22 delivery closed today at RMB 3,702/t ($549/t), up by RMB 29/t ($5/t) compared with the closing on 15 July. Current prices-

• HRC (4.5-12mm, Q235 B): RMB 3,740/t ($555/t), up by RMB 130/t ($19/t)
• CRC (1-1.2mm, Q195-215A): RMB 4,175/t ($620/t), up by RMB 20/t ($3/t)
• Prices are exw-Tianjin basis, inclusive of 13% VAT.
