Chinese steelmaker Delong Holdings is planning to expand its annual crude steel output in Indonesia to 20 mn t, which is 3-times higher, the latter country produced last year. Earlier this week, Delong’s JV Dexin Steel Indonesia informed that it had launched a 1st phase expansion of the steel project in Sulawesi Island, raising its annual capacity to 6 mn t which is slated to be put into production by end-2021.
