According to recent data released by National Bureau of Statistics, China’s crude steel output has increased by 5% Y-o-Y in Nov’16. China’s crude steel output stood at 66.29 MnT in Nov’16 against 63.3 MnT in Nov’15.
However on monthly premises, China’s crude steel output has fallen by 3% as in Oct’16 it was recorded at 68.51 MnT.
In first eleven months of CY16, China’s crude steel output was registered at 738.9 MnT, up by 1.1% in the same period last year.
China’s finished steel production up by 1.7% Y-o-Y in Nov’16 – China’s finished steel production stood at 95.4 MnT in Nov’16, higher by 1.7% Y-o-Y.
China’s finished steel consumption to drop in CY17 – According to recent report of China Metallurgical Industry Planning & Research Institute, China’s crude steel output is expected to fall by 2.2% in CY17 over less consumption from real-estate industry, machinery, ship-building & home appliance sectors.
