China’s Baosteel has witnessed the sharp decline in flat product prices by RMB 120-300/MT for May shipments owing to softening of demand in the global market.
China’s major steel giant Baosteel has announced its flat product prices for May deliveries The company has slashed the prices significantly by RMB 120-300/MT which is equivalent to USD 17-43/MT for HRC (Hot rolled coil),CRC (cold rolled coil) and for HDG (Hot Dipped Galvanized).
The effective prices for May deliveries for CRC SPCC 1.0mm is hovering in the range of RMB 5,596 (USD 810/MT). Whereas 1.0mm HDG is assessed in the range of RMB 5,977-6,287/MT equivalent to (USD 865-910/MT). All prices are on Ex-work basis excluding VAT.
However,effective rates of HRC Q235 5.5mm are assessed to RMB 4,522-4,702/MT (USD 654-680/MT),while Q235,14-20mm plate remained at RMB 3,300/MT equivalent to (USD 478/MT). Prices are on Ex-work basis excluding VAT.
