China’s anthracite coal imports dip 23% in Feb’22

China’s anthracite coal imports in Feb’22 saw a decrease of 23% m-o-m at 0.53 mnt. The entire volume came from Russia while there were nil imports from South Africa in Feb’22 which was the second highest exporter last month. However, with sanctions on Russia, China is likely to increase imports of anthracite coal from South Africa in March.
