China’s Anshan Iron & Steel (Ansteel Group) has planned to put its blast furnace No.7 on care and maintenance for 40 days. This furnace has a capacity of 2,580 cubic metres and is scheduled to undergo maintenance from 10 Aug’20, which would affect daily output of 6,000 t pig iron and cumulatively 240,000 t in total.
