China’s Taiyuan Iron and Steel Corporation (TISCO) lowered its Jan’26 ferro chrome tender price by RMB 200/t ($29/t) m-o-m to RMB 7,995/t ($1,143/t) DAP, inclusive of taxes. The reduction followed Tsingshan’s lower Jan’26 tender prices and weak downstream demand, with cautious procurement continuing to pressure prices despite persistent support from raw material costs.
