Steel billet prices in Tangshan, China, inched up by RMB 10/t ($1/t) d-o-d to RMB 2,910/t ($404/t), including 13% VAT, on 28 May’25.
The marginal uptick came despite continued volatility in raw material costs, finished steel markets, and rebar futures.
SHFE rebar futures (Oct’25) fell by RMB 16/t ($2/t) d-o-d to RMB 2,964/t ($411/t) on 28 May’25.
