Steel billet prices in Tangshan, China, fell by RMB 30/t ($4/t) to RMB 2,860/t ($397/t), including 13% VAT, on 3 Jun’25 against 30 May.
Billet prices declined, as falling futures and sluggish downstream demand outweighed the impact of high mill output.
SHFE rebar futures (Oct’25) declined by RMB 33/t ($5/t) to RMB 2,928/t ($406/t) on 3 Jun’25 against 30 May’25.
