Steel inventory at key Chinese mills stood at 17.32 mnt in mid-Aug’22, a m-o-m increase of 0.27 mnt, or 1.64%, as per China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) data. Inventory increased by 6.03 mnt or 53.40% compared with the beginning of this year and up by 2.39 mnt, or 16.04% against mid-Aug’21.
