China: Steel inventory rises by 17% w-o-w

China’s steel inventory rose by 17% w-o-w to 12.91 mnt as on 27 Jan’23 against 11.03 mnt a week ago.
Stocks of HRCs and CRCs rose by 15% and 7% w-o-w to 2.64 mnt and 1.40 mnt, respectively. Plates stocks went up by 11% w-o-w to 1.25 mnt.
Rebars and wire rods stocks registered a sharp rise of 21% and 22% w-o-w to 6.35 mnt and 1.27 mnt, respectively.
