China: Steel inventory increases 2% to 8.61 mn t, w-o-w

China’s steel inventory including steel sheets and construction steel stood at 8.61 mn t today, as assessed today, an increase of 2% against 8.47 mn t a week ago, as per Lange Steel data.

• The stock, comprising HRC, CRC and plates, moved up marginally by 1% to 4.33 mn t on the week
• Construction steel (including rebar and wire rod) stocks rose by 2% to 4.28 mn t today versus 4.2 mn t last week.
