China: Steel inventory falls to 15.19 mnt w-o-w

Steel inventory by major Chinese mills dropped 2.5% to 15.19 mnt as assessed on 15 Apr’22, in comparison with 15.58 mnt a week ago, as per Lange Steel.

• Steel stocks (HRC, CRC and plates) stood largely stable at 4.89 mnt against 4.91 mnt a week ago.
• Construction steel stocks which consist of rebar and wire rods dipped by 3.5% to 10.30 mnt as against 10.67 mnt a week ago.
