China: Steel inventories at key mills drop slightly in late-Oct’21

As per China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) figures, steel inventories of key enterprises was 12.84 mn t in late-Oct’21, down 1,600 t on the month. This figure was higher by 890,500 t from the end of Sep – an increase of 7.45%. Data reveals that steel inventory of key companies increased by 697,100 t over the corresponding period of 2020 – a rise of 5.74%.
