Steel billets prices in China’s Tangshan remained stable for the third consecutive day at RMB 4,830/t ($762/t), inclusive of 13% VAT on 31 Mar’22. According to the data maintained with SteelMint, China’s rebar futures contract for Oct’22 delivery on the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) closed today at RMB 5,061/t ($798/t), witnessing an increase of RMB 27/t ($4/t), d-o-d.
