China: Steel billets prices stable d-o-d, rebar futures rise

Domestic billets prices in China’s Tangshan remained stable d-o-d at RMB 3,520/t ($499/t), inclusive of 13% VAT on 15 Nov’22.
A hike in rebar futures and finished steel prices have supported billets prices, SteelMint notes.
China’s SHFE rebar futures contract for Jan’23 delivery closed today at RMB 3,692/t ($524/t), an increase of RMB 44/t ($6/t) d-o-d.
