Steel billet prices in China’s Tangshan rose by RMB 30/t ($3/t) on 23 Mar’22. Prices stood at RMB 4,750/t ($745/t), inclusive of 13% VAT. According to data maintained with SteelMint, China’s SHFE re-bar futures contract for May’22 delivery closed today at RMB 4,983/t ($782/t), witnessing a rise of RMB 65/t ($10/t), d-o-d.
