Steel billet prices in China’s Tangshan remained stable at RMB 4,660/t ($685/t) on 13 May’22, inclusive of 13% VAT. According to data maintained with SteelMint, China’s SHFE re-bar futures contract for Oct’22 delivery closed today at RMB 4,670/t ($686/t), witnessing a d-o-d recovery of RMB 58/t ($8/t).
