China: Steel billet prices stable, rebar futures range bound d-o-d

Steel billet prices in China’s Tangshan remained stable d-o-d at RMB 3,650/t ($510/t), inclusive of 13% VAT on 26 Sept’22. According to data maintained with SteelMint, China’s SHFE rebar futures contract for Jan’23 delivery closed today at RMB 3,765/t ($526/t), largely stable as against the closing on 23 Sep.
