Steel billet prices in China’s Tangshan remained stable for the second consecutive day at RMB 4,900/t ($766/t), inclusive of 13% VAT, on 29 Oct’21. According to data maintained with SteelMint, China’s rebar futures contract for Jan’22 delivery at the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) closed today at RMB 4,646/t ($726/t), witnessing a fall of RMB 66/t ($10/t), d-o-d.
