Steel billet prices in China’s Tangshan remained stable for the second consecutive day at RMB 3,680/t ($527/t), inclusive of 13% VAT on 7 Sept’22. According to data maintained with SteelMint, China’s SHFE rebar futures contract for Jan’23 delivery closed today at RMB 3,673/t ($526/t), decreasing by RMB 20/t ($3/t), d-o-d.
