Steel billet prices in China’s Tangshan remained stable for the second consecutive day at RMB 3,550/t ($525/t), inclusive of 13% VAT on 21 July. According to data maintained with SteelMint, China’s SHFE rebar futures contract for Oct’22 delivery closed today at RMB 3,831/t ($566/t), largely stable, d-o-d.
