China: Steel billet prices rise by RMB 40/t ($6/t) after holidays

  • Increase in finished steel prices and rebar futures post holidays have supported the billet prices.
  • SHFE rebar futures (Oct’24 delivery) increased by RMB 97/t ($13/t) to RMB 3,560/t ($492t) on 8 Apr’24 against 3 Apr’24.
