China: Steel billet prices rise by RMB 10/t ($1/t) d-o-d

Steel billet prices in China’s Tangshan increased by RMB 10/t ($1/t) to RMB 2,990/t ($410/t), including 13% VAT, on 28 Apr’25 as against 25 April.
The rise in billet prices was backed by supporting futures and falling inventories.
SHFE rebar futures (Oct’25) rose RMB 28/t ($4/t) to RMB 3,129/t ($429/t) on 28 Apr’25 against 25 April.
