Steel billet prices in China’s Tangshan remained stable post-mid Autumn festival holidays at RMB 3,720/t ($537/t), inclusive of 13% VAT on 13 Sept’22. According to data maintained with SteelMint, China’s SHFE rebar futures contract for Jan’23 delivery closed today at RMB 3,794/t ($548/t), largely stable as against the closing on 9 Sept’22.
