  • An uptick in demand, an increase in raw material costs, and rising finished steel prices and rebar futures drove up billet tags.
  • SHFE rebar futures (Oct’25) edged up by RMB 21/t ($3/t) d-o-d to RMB 3,098/t ($429/t) on 7 May’25.
