China: Steel billet prices inch up by RMB 20/t ($3/t) d-o-d

Steel billet prices in China’s Tangshan edged up by RMB 20/t ($3/t) d-o-d to RMB 3,110/t ($429/t) on 21 Nov’24. Prices include 13% VAT.
A hike in rebar futures and stability in finished steel prices supported billet tags.
Meanwhile, SHFE rebar futures (Jan’25 delivery) increased by RMB 13/t ($2/t) to RMB 3,332/t ($460/t) on 21 Nov’24.
