China: Steel billet prices inch up by RMB 10/t ($1/t) d-o-d

Billet prices in Tangshan edged up by RMB 10/t ($1/t) d-o-d to RMB 3,310/t ($456/t) on 28 Jun’24. Prices include 13% VAT.
Hike in rebar futures and stability in finished steel prices have supported billet prices.
SHFE rebar futures (Oct’24 delivery) increased by RMB 9/t ($1/t) d-o-d to RMB 3,544/t ($488/t) on 28 Jun.
