China: Steel billet prices inch up by RMB 10/t ($1/t) d-o-d

Steel billet prices in Tangshan, China, inched up by RMB 10/t ($1/t) d-o-d to RMB 2,960/t ($412/t), including 13% VAT, on 16 Jul’25.
Billet prices rose, fuelled by firm raw material tags and shifting local supply despite sluggish downstream demand which added to the market uncertainty.
SHFE Oct’25 rebar futures dipped by RMB 8/t ($1/t) d-o-d to RMB 3,106/t ($433/t) on 16 Jul’25.
