China: Steel billet prices inch lower by RMB 20/t ($3/t) d-o-d

China’s steel billet tags in Tangshan decreased d-o-d by RMB 20/t ($3/t) to RMB 2,930/t ($406/t), including 13% VAT, on 20 May’25.
The dip in prices was due to a decline in raw material tags and demand-supply mismatch.
SHFE rebar futures (Oct’25) edged down d-o-d by RMB 11/t ($2/t) to RMB 3,058/t ($424/t) on 20 May.
