Steel billet prices in China’s Tangshan fell by RMB 20/t ($3/t) on 18 Apr’22. Prices stood at RMB 4,790/t ($752/t), including 13% VAT. According to data maintained with SteelMint, China’s SHFE re-bar futures contract for Oct’22 delivery closed today at RMB 5,063/t ($795/t), witnessing a marginal increase of RMB 14/t ($2/t) against the closing on 15 Apr.
