China: Steel billet prices inch down by RMB 10/t ($1/t) d-o-d

Billet prices in Tangshan fell by RMB 10/t ($1/t) d-o-d to RMB 3,290/t ($454/t) on 12 Jul’24. Prices include 13% VAT.
Volatility in raw material, finished steel prices and rebar futures have weighed on billet prices.
SHFE rebar futures (Oct’24 delivery) increased by RMB 9/t ($1/t) d-o-d to RMB 3,523/t ($486/t) on 12 Jul’24.
